Diamonds and Certification
Q. Are your diamonds certified?
All our diamonds over 0.30cts come with full certification from the GIA.
Q. Can I pick my own diamond if I have a specific requirement?
Yes of course, you can pick your own diamond and if you have a desired diamond in mind we will be happy to supply you with such a diamond. When we manufacture a diamond ring for clients who purchase online, we try to give 1 or 2 stone options to choose from.
Q. Are your diamonds conflict free?
All the diamonds we use are conflict free. We only purchase stones from reliable diamond companies that belong to the Kimberley process certification scheme. We purchase from companies in London, Antwerp, Israel, and New York.
Q. Do you offer valuation certificates for insurance?
Every item of jewellery we sell over £1,000 comes with a free valuation certificate for insurance purposes. Items under £1,000 with most insurance companies, you will find you do not have to submit a valuation.
Q. Do you Hallmark your jewellery?
All jewellery we manufacture comes with full U.K. hallmarks.
Q. How is your jewellery presented?
Packaging / presentation has always been on par with the jewellery that lies within. Our beautiful luxury cream silk boxes sit within an outer box and gift bag.
Q. What guarantees do you provide with your jewellery?
Every item of jewellery purchased from SJ & Co comes with a lifetime guarantee, if any fault with metal and manufacture we will repair free of charge or replace. If jewellery needs repairing through wear n tear there is a charge.
Delivery and shipping
Q. How is your jewellery delivered?
We send items by Royal mail special delivery within the U.K. Worldwide we send by Fed Ex, UPS.
Returns and Refunds
Q. Can I return an Item if not happy?
We offer a 14 day return policy if your not 100% happy with the item you have purchased, or we will be happy to exchange. However the item has to be returned in prefect condition with full documentation and diamond certificate. A charge is applicable to earrings for hygiene purposes, as posts must be changed. Fully bespoke items are non-refundable.
Finger size / Re-Sizing
Q. I want to buy a ring but have no idea of my partner’s finger size?
If you are buying a ring as a surprise and have no idea of finger size at all we suggest making it just over the average finger size . Alternatively if you have access to any other rings your partner may wear, and on which finger we can generally get a very near finger measurement.
Q.I want to buy a ring for myself but have no idea of my finger size?
If the ring is for yourself feel free to let us measure your finger correctly at your earliest convenience or pop into a local jewellers and have your finger measured.
Q. Can a ring be re-sized if the finger size is wrong?
We can adjust any ring purchased from us complimentary free of charge for up to 6 months from date of invoice. If a ring is purchased and we are given a specific finger size and it is wrong we will charge a small fee normally around £50.
Order / Payment
Q. From ordering online how long will my purchase take to be delivered?
Once we have received your order we will let you know how long it will within 24 working hours. If Items are in stock delivery is within 7 to 10 working days. Diamond set rings and jewellery take 20 to 30 working days. Bespoke designs can take between 20 to 40 working days depending on how complex the design is. However if an item is urgent and for a specific date in mind please email or phone and we shall do our upmost to complete.
Q. Paying for an item of jewellery?
You can purchase simply by going through our online secure payment process page with Sage Pay. We accept all major cards Visa credit, Visa debit, Mastercard, Electron, Switch, Solo, Maestro. PayPal , American Express, Cheques or Bank Transfers.
